Before anything else
Giving is worship, not a fee
Nobody in this church is pressured, shamed, ranked or publicly named for what they give. Visitors are asked not to give at all. If money is tight in your house right now, the right thing to do is keep it and let us know if we can help.
Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.2 Corinthians 9:7

The Sunday offering
Cash or envelope
- Counted by two unrelated people after every service
- Recorded the same day, banked the next working day
- Envelopes available if you want a receipt
Mobile or bank transfer
Account details on request
- Give from anywhere, including from outside the country
- Add a reference so it reaches the right fund
- Statement reconciled monthly by the deacon for administration
A designated fund
Mercy, missions, building
- Money given to a fund is only ever spent on that fund
- Reported separately in the twice yearly statement
- You may ask to see how your designated gift was used
No live payment method is connected to this concept site and no bank details are published here. Any real giving page should be built with the church treasurer, and account details should never be posted publicly without their approval.
Accountability
How you can check on us
A church that asks for money owes its people an answer about that money. These are the commitments of this house.

Two sets of hands, always
No single person, including the lead minister, ever counts, holds or moves church money alone.

Reported to the church
Income and expenditure are presented to the congregation twice a year, in a meeting where questions are taken from the floor.

Reviewed from outside
The accounts are reviewed annually by someone who is not a member of this church and not related to any leader.

Ministers are not paid from a percentage
Salaries are fixed and approved by the eldership. Nobody in this house earns more when the offering is larger.

No giving register in the room
Giving records are confidential. They are not used to decide who serves, who leads or who is honoured.

You may ask, any time
Any member can ask the treasurer a question about church finances in writing and expect a written answer.
