Our story
It started in a living room
There was no sound system, no budget and no plan beyond obedience. There was a small group of people who believed that God still calls ordinary families to carry His presence into a city.
Everything you see now grew out of that room. We have made mistakes, buried people we loved, lost some who walked away, and watched God restore what we could not. The story below is the honest version, not the brochure version.

The dates and milestones below are placeholders. The church office will supply the confirmed timeline before this site goes live.
2016
A prayer meeting that would not die
Fifteen people meeting on Tuesday evenings in a living room, praying for the neighbourhood by name.
2017
The first hall
A rented community hall, plastic chairs, one borrowed speaker, and the first Sunday service of Father’s House Christian Church.
2018
First baptism service
Eleven believers baptised. The kids ministry started the same year because there were suddenly children everywhere.
2020
The hard year
Gatherings suspended, services moved online, and the mercy ministry became the main work of the church.
2022
Into the current sanctuary
The congregation moved into a permanent home with a dedicated kids wing and room to grow.
2023
La Maison du Pere
French interpretation added to the second service, and the name on the seal became true in practice.
Today
A house that sends
Two Sunday services, twelve ministries, weekly outreach, and the first church plants in preparation.
Provisional vision and mission
Why this house exists
A working draft prepared for the leadership of Father’s House Christian Church. Read it slowly. It is meant to be argued with, prayed over, corrected, and only then adopted.
To be a Father’s house for this city: a family where the lost are found, the broken are restored, and every believer is equipped to carry the presence of God into the nations.
And I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.2 Corinthians 6:18
We pursue that vision through five plain commitments.
- Gather. Meet weekly around the presence of God in worship, prayer and the breaking of bread.
- Ground. Teach the whole counsel of Scripture so that faith rests on truth, not on feeling.
- Grow. Form small groups where disciples are known, corrected, encouraged and sent.
- Give. Serve the poor, the widow, the orphan and the stranger in our own neighbourhood first.
- Go. Raise and release ministers, and plant Father’s House congregations in other cities and nations.
What a vision is for
It tells the house where it is going when the offering is low, when leaders are tired, and when an easier direction is available.
What a mission is for
It turns the vision into things a real person can do on a real Tuesday. If it cannot be scheduled, it is not yet a mission.
Where it gets decided
At the leaders retreat. Apostle Innocent and the eldership will review this wording, amend it, and then it becomes binding on all of us.
Core values
Six things we refuse to trade away

The Word first
Scripture sets the agenda. Not culture, not the loudest opinion in the room, and not the preference of the leadership.

The presence of God
We would rather have a slow service with God in it than a slick one without Him.

Family, not audience
People here are known by name, fed, corrected and missed when they are absent.

Integrity in money
Giving is counted by two people, recorded, reported to the church, and never used to pressure anyone.

Servanthood
Titles here describe responsibility, not rank. The people who carry the most serve the most visibly.

Room for the nations
Two languages under one roof on purpose, because the Father’s house was never meant to hold one tribe only.

What we believe
Old faith, plainly stated
Nothing here is new. These are the convictions the church has held in common for two thousand years, written in ordinary language.
We believe the Bible, the sixty six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and the final authority for what we believe and how we live. Where our traditions and the text disagree, the text wins.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory. We worship Him as Father because the Son has made Him known and the Spirit has brought us near.
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, crucified for our sins, buried, raised bodily on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and coming again in glory. He is the only mediator between God and men.
We believe a person is saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Salvation is not earned by religious effort, family background, or good works, although a saved person will show it by a changed life.
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, indwells, seals and empowers every believer. We welcome His gifts in the gathering, exercised in order, tested by Scripture, and always aimed at building up the church rather than drawing attention to a person.
We baptise believers by immersion as a public confession of faith, and we share the Lord’s Table together as a family, remembering His death until He comes. Both are commands of Christ, not optional extras.
We believe the church is the body of Christ, local and worldwide, led by servants who are accountable to God and to the congregation. Membership means belonging, submitting, serving and being cared for, not simply attending.
We believe Jesus will return personally and visibly to judge the living and the dead, and that those who are in Him will be raised to eternal life. That day shapes how we use our time, our money and our voices now.
